It is the goal of the Equine Advocacy Committee to do the following:

1)      Educate the public on equine related issues including:
        a.       The Economic value horse owners and equestrians bring to a community including the opportunities for horse related events and tourism, horse facilities including riding rings, horse farms, etc. 

         b.      The opportunity for shared recreational trails (horse, mountain bike, walking)

2)      Explore the possibility for establishment of an independent equine advocacy organization that will work collaboratively with other organizations and town agencies to promote equine related activities beneficial to the Town residents and visitors.
