Who Can Vote in the Budget Referendum
You may vote in the budget referendum if you are:
A registered New Milford voter – YES
A registered New Milford voter but not in a party – YES

If you are NOT a registered New Milford voter but own property in town.
You CAN VOTE if you meet these five criteria:
1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You are a United States Citizen.
3. Your name is on the Grand List set on October 1st of the previous year.
4. The property has a value of at least $1000.
5. You are eligible to be registered to vote (this has to do with felony laws)
