The Connecticut State General Statutes requires that municipalities perform revaluation no later then 5 years after the last revaluation. The Town of New Milford has begun work on the "Interim" Revaluation for October 1, 2015. The last full Revaluation was October 1, 2010.
At this time we are having representatives, from Vision Government Solutions, Inc., conducting field inspections of specific properties within New Milford. There may be some interior inspections of recently sold properties or new construction required as well.
All representatives will have picture identification and their motor vehicles are listed with the New Milford Police Department. Please always make sure you request to see their identification.
They may be taking pictures of the exterior of some homes as well as inspecting the interior and/or the exterior of selected homes.
