Passive open space area in center of community with picturesque bandstand. The Green can be used by non-profit organizations if applied for and approved by the Parks & Recreation Office. It must be a New Milford organization. Bandstand closes at 9:00 pm. Lynn Deming
Lynn Deming Park opens on Saturday, May 23, 2009 and closes on Labor Day, September 7, 2009. The Park opens one half hour after sunrise and closes one half hour after sunset (except for access to the boat launch, boat slips, and moorings). Vehicle and boat launch stickers will be sold daily at the gate from 8:00am to 8:00pm . Gate attendants will be on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no alcohol allowed in the Park. Smoking is not permitted on the beach. A complete copy of the Park Rules are available at the Park entrance or at the Parks and Recreation Office. Directions: Route 7 North, left on to Candlewood Lake Road North. Park will be on the right. Boat Slips & Moorings A reminder that all boat slips & moorings must be removed from Lynn Deming Town Park by Monday, October 6, 2008. All carpeting or bumpers on slips must be removed by the boat owner. Registration Date for 2009 Boat Slip is Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM at Parks and Recreation, 47 Bridge St, New Milford. Please call (860) 355-6050 with any questions. Very picturesque picnic area and a tot lot playground are on this site along the East Aspetuck River. Picnic tables, grills, fishing, and a field for passive-active recreation, plus a parking area are located at this site. Park opens one half hour before sunrise, and closes one hour after sunset. Directions: Route 202 to Wheaton Road, and the Park is on the right after the bridge. Addis Park

Walking trail with native flowers and plants. Closes one half hour after sunset. Directions: Route 202 to Hipp Road, the park Is on the left behind Schaghticoke School. Park your car and follow the path to the start of the trail. Clatter Valley
Approximately 100+ acres of open space for outdoor recreational activities, including horseback riding, cross country skiing, fishing, tobogganing, a hiking trail and a pond. There is a public pavilion with picnic tables available for reserved group use. Alcohol is allowed by permit only at this site. Park opens one half hour before sunrise, and closes one half hour after sunset. Directions: Rt. 67, turn right on to Grove Street, left on to Hine Hill Road. At the stop sign take a right on the Old Farm Road. Park is on the right, look for an old white farm house. Young’s Field An active recreation area which offers tennis courts, basketball court, tot lot playground, pavilion, and multi-athletic fields. Directions: Bridge Street to Young's Field Road. Andrew Gaylord Barnes Property Small passive area along the Housatonic River. Route 7 north to Boardman's Bridge. Ray Ramsey Park Small landscaped square with a kiosk listing community events. The park is located at the junction of Bridge and Railroad Streets, next to the Railroad Station. Emmanual Williamson Park Park with playground area, basketball courts, and a picnic pavilion. Also, on the site Is a miniature replica of a one room schoolhouse. Park opens one half hour before sunrise, and closes one half hour after sunset. Directions: Route 7 North to Gaylordsville. Park is on the left. Helen Marx Park Two Little League Baseball fields with an overlapping soccer field. Four and one/half acre on Housatonic Avenue. Sega Property Forty-three acres of undeveloped park land bordering the Housatonic River Sullivan Farm Property One hundred and five acres of undeveloped park land on Route 202 at intersection with Route 109. Pickett District Road Ball Fields Four bambino sized baseball fields on 10 acres of land off of Pickett Disctrict Road. Norstrand Trail Wilderness trail through 138 acres of land off of Squire Hill Road. (Take Route 202 North, make a left onto Little Bear Hill Road.) Canterbury Pond
