March 18, 2009 - Town Receives Grant to Study Feasibility of Locally-Grown Produce Distribution Facility
Mayor Patricia Murphy of New Milford announced today that the Town of New Milford Economic Development Office has been awarded a grant in the amount of $11,214.00, to conduct a feasibility study on Southern Litchfield County’s First Regional Locally-Grown Produce Distribution Facility. Next New Milford Economic Developmet Commission Meeting Scheduled for July 9, 2009
The New Milford Economic Development Commission will hold a SPECIAL Meeting on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in the E. Paul Martin Room in Town Hall. The meeting will begin at 5:00PM. Members of the public are both welcome to attend and actively participate.
Higher Education Sub-Committee Meeting Scheduled for June 25, 2009
The Higher Education Initiative Sub-Committee of the New Milford Economic Development Commission will hold its next meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in the E. Paul Martin Room in Town Hall. The meeting will begin at 5:00PM. The sub-committee will seek input from other local governmental agencies on the perceived market demand for higher educational opportunities in the community.
