Naloxone/Narcan Community Education Workshop:
Wednesday July 8th  6:30-7:30 PM
New Milford Youth Agency, 50 East St. Third floor.

Nalxone is an opioid antidote: it reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. Find out more about opioid overdose risks & the opioid antidote Naloxone AKA Narcan   
(Examples of opioids are: Painkillers such as: morphine, methadone, Buprenorphine, hydrocodone, and oxycodone. Heroin is also an opioid .)
Have questions about naloxone?  Who can have naloxone?    Who can dispense it? What does it do exactly?

This is a one hour program, with a short presentation by Walgreen Pharmacist, Anne Linksey, and a Q&A.

This event is also open to anyone in the community who is interested.  Registration is Required
