Connecticut Light and Power has scheduled work on their transmission infrastructure in the area of Rooster Tail Hollow as part of their ongoing System Resiliency Program.  The Project is located in the right-of-way off Rooster Tail Hollow and is scheduled to begin on 9/15/14 and run through 11/30/14.

They will be replacing one of the existing transmission structures with a new one of the same height.  Based on recent inspections and engineering analysis, this structure has been designated for replacement to better withstanding a severe weather event.  Please note the work is not expected to interrupt electric service to any homes or businesses.
