The Connecticut State General Statutes require that municipalities perform revaluation no later than 5 years after the last revaluation. The Town of New Milford will soon begin work on the “Interim” Revaluation for October 1, 2015. The last full physical Revaluation was October 1, 2010.

At this time, we will be having representatives from Vision Government Solutions, Inc. conducting field inspections of specific properties within New Milford. There may be some interior inspections of recently sold properties, or new construction required as well.

All representatives will have picture identifications and their motor vehicles will be listed with the New Milford Police Department. Please always make sure you request to see their identification.  They may be taking pictures of the exterior of some homes as well as inspecting the interior and/or the exterior of selected homes.
