From the Department of Public Works Director, Michael Zarba:
On Wednesday, April 15th (changed from April 14th due to expected wet conditions), the Connecticut DOT and Eversource (CL&P) will be removing several poles on Route 202 (Bridge Street) and moving signal wires to the new poles. This work is estimated to be completed in one day. The work will occur from 9 am to 3 pm.
Several variable message boards will be in place to communicate the work. Please utilize Still River Drive and Grove Street. One lane of traffic will be maintained. Please obey the traffic control personnel.
