VOLUNTEERS REQUESTED!

The New Milford Health Department is looking for volunteers who are interested in working on public health and other emergencies in our Town.  The Health Department is always preparing for local emergencies and we need your help!

Volunteers do not need medical training or background but should reside in one of the four towns in the planning region, which includes New Milford, New Fairfield, Sherman and Washington. In the event of a public health emergency, volunteers will be providing assistance at dispensing clinics for vaccinations or other medications.  Training specific to volunteer assignments will be provided.

If you are interested in helping our community in the event of a public health emergency or other emergency you can fill out the Volunteer Data Sheet by clicking on the link below and then contacting the New Milford Health Department at 860-355-6035 for more information.
