Inland Wetlands Department

In accordance with CDC guidelines, individuals who have not been vaccinated and children under the age of 12 must wear a mask while inside of the Town Hall.

Starting in June, 2021, the Inland Wetalnds Commission will begin to hold in-person meetings.

Inland Wetlands applications can be reviewed on the ViewPoint Cloud online permitting system.

The Inland Wetlands Commission regularly scheduled meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 pm in the E. Paul Martin Room, 2nd floor of the Town Hall (unless otherwise noted).

The New Milford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWC) was established in 1988. The IWC carries out the requirements of State Statutes to assure proper use, protection and maintenance of the Town’s freshwater wetlands and watercourses.

The Wetlands Enforcement Officer performs site inspections, reviews permit related documents and is available for consultation by appointment.
