Annual Fire Prevention POSTER CONTEST for Grades 4 & 5 began October 1st at Sarah Noble. State and county winners Grand prizes are $200, $500 and $1,000 Savings Bonds! Sponsored by the CT Fair Plan, CT Fire Marshal Assoc. and State of CT Dept. of Public Safety.


Annual FIRE SAFETY DAY every October at HOME DEPOT. Highlights include: Firetrucks, Live Burn of 8x8 buildings, Vehicle Extrication Demonstration, Lifestar, CSP Convincer, CSP Rollover Machine, State Fire Marshal Arson Van, New Milford Police Dept., New Milford Ambulance, Candlewood Lake Authority, Live Fire Extinguisher Training, Spanner the Fire Safety Dalmatian, and much, much more.
