Household and Clothing Goods

Clothing vouchers for the New Milford Thrift Mart(a not-for-profit store where all proceeds go back into the community) are made available for income eligible individuals and families. Please call (860)355-6079 x1 for an appointment to request a voucher.

New or second-hand household items may be provided upon request, if they are available. The recipient is responsible for the pick-up of any donated goods.  We cannot actually keep the items on site but arrange for the donor and the recipient to contact each other

We cannot accept used clothing, used toys, or household items at our office. Please consider donating  to the New Milford Thrift Mart, Goodwill Donation Center, or another clothing distribution center of your choice.

Winter Coat Program:   From November until February of each year,  families and individuals (under the age of 60) may come to our office to register for a free coat from the New Milford Thrift Mart.  Households who have provided income documentation within the current year will receive 1 coupon per family member.  Coupons may be taken to the Thrift Mart daily, except Sundays, from 12pm-4pm and exchanged for a coat.   Additional coats may be purchased at the Thrift Mart at their regular price.
