" Paper Bag Challenge"  :  Sometimes families request items of which we just don't have enough.  We have listed 11 items on a flyer and are offering a challenge to fill one bag with at least 5 of these items.  Will you take the challenge?

ATTENTION LOCAL BACKYARD GARDENERS! If you find your garden's bounty is a bit too much for your family's needs and you don't want to see it go to waste, think of us!  The New Milford Food Bank has registered with the Campaign ( - a nationwide program to enable local backyard gardeners to find a local food pantry to share their excess vegetables and fruits.  Donations can be brought directly to the Food Bank on Thursday mornings, for immediate distribution.
