Emergency Assistance

New Milford Social Services can offer limited funds to assist with non-recurring emergency needs or services which are not provided by other resources. Grants have assisted with prescriptions and medical costs, camperships, childcare, utility arrangements, rent and mortgage, transportation and small home repairs. An appointment is necessary to apply for emergency assistance.

Please call (860) 355-6079 x 1 for an appointment to see if you are eligible for assistance.

 

Persons experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk (within 2 weeks) of becoming homeless need to call 211 press #3 and #1 for housing emergency.
